About this role
You will be responsible for directly managing the India SMB Account Executive team. You will be tasked with developing and executing on the GTM Strategy associated with the India region by working closely with your team and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead, manage, coach and mentor a team of SMB Account Executives focused on acquiring new business
Attract, hire, retain high performing talent with an aptitude to learn and grow
Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Coach, manage and develop sellers with an emphasis on continual learning and skill-gap improvement
Develop processes that scale and drive consistent execution across the team
Actively monitor sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to proactively adapt to changing conditions
Assist the team throughout their sales cycle for different product and service offerings
Prepare and engage team through professional development plans
Create a cohesive cross functional environment between GTM and product in region
Develop an internal and external candidate pipeline
Requirements
Minimum experience of 10 years in IT/SAAS sales.
4+ years proven sales management experience across the India region
Experience of leading a team of Account Executives (net new business) with demonstrated success in SMB
Ability to identify areas of opportunity, recommend solutions, take ownership of implementation and/or project management of sales initiatives
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business by sharing insights, the root causes behind changes in KPI's, the frequency and impact of these root causes and your recommendations to double down or course correct as needed
Analytical Sales Leader with strong experience using data to drive decision making
Ability to communicate complex information and processes in a streamlined, easy-to-understand fashion
Prior experience in B2B SaaS hyper-growth companies (HR tech & Payroll companies are desired)
Strong operational skills - SFDC reporting, forecasting and data analysis
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
